Shen Guojun attends the first World Western Business Conference, helping Xi'an to write a new chapter of catching up and surpassing

On August 19-20, 2017, Shen Guojun, Executive Chairman of Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Intime Group, attended the first World Western Business Conference held in Xi'an. With the theme of "the Belt and Road: New Xi'an, New Economy, and New Vitality", the conference invited representatives of Western businessmen from home and abroad who have feelings, influence, and contributions to the economic and social development of Xi'an to gather in the ancient city, further gather the strength of Western businessmen from home and abroad, display the style of Western businessmen, carry forward the spirit of Western businessmen, launch the brand of Western businessmen, and work together to write a new chapter of catching up and surpassing in Xi'an.

The first World Western Business Conference lasted only two days, with 9 activities arranged to make the conference compact and fulfilling. Shen Guojun attended the opening ceremony and theme forum of the Western Business Conference, the roundtable meeting on "Dialogue between Zhejiang Merchants and Xi'an", and the signing ceremony of the first World Western Business Conference.

At the "Dialogue between Zhejiang Merchants and Xi'an" roundtable meeting, Shen Guojun said in his speech: "This is the second time I have come to Xi'an in two months. Last time I came, I was honored to be hired as an economic advisor to the Xi'an Municipal People's Government. I feel a great sense of responsibility and pressure, and I have been thinking about doing something for Xi'an. Every time I come to Xi'an, I feel that there have been great changes, especially in the city's appearance, with clean alleys. Recently, Intime Group has also felt that the work efficiency of the Xi'an Municipal Government is particularly high in the process of liaising with relevant departments of the Xi'an Municipal Government."

Regarding how to support the development of Xi'an, Shen Guojun made a statement: "As long as it meets the needs of Xi'an's development strategy plan, we have the ability to do it, and we will wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly do our best to do the project well." In April of this year, Shen Guojun led a delegation of Zhejiang entrepreneurs from Beijing to Xi'an for investment inspection and signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Xi'an. Currently, there are over 30 projects in progress, among which Yintai Group has five projects. In addition, Shen Guojun also suggested that the nearly ten million Zhejiang merchants in the Zhejiang Merchants Association could have more exchanges and cooperation with Western merchants, complementing each other's advantages. At the same time, as the executive chairman of Zhejiang Merchants Association and the chairman of Beijing Zhejiang Enterprise Chamber of Commerce, we will definitely organize another group of entrepreneurs to come to Xi'an to help Xi'an with the "the Belt and Road", industrial transformation and upgrading and other plans.
