Yintai Charity | Blue Pioneer Plan Phase II Field Research Activity Successfully Held

In late July, the "Blue Pioneer Plan" jointly initiated by the Taohuayuan Ecological Protection Foundation, Yintai Public Welfare Foundation, and Kunshan Duke University Environmental Research Center entered the research stage of the protected area according to project arrangements. 20 students were divided into two groups and went to Liaoning Linghai Dalinhekou National Ocean Park and Hainan Sanya Taiyang Bay to conduct research activities. On July 26th, the "Blue Pioneer" field investigation team of 11 people arrived in Jinzhou, Liaoning Province. The group invited three industry experts, Wang Songlin, Yu Lian, and Fang Qing, to serve as public welfare mentors and jointly conduct research on coastal wetland public welfare protection areas and sustainable fisheries.

During the research activity in Hainan, it was already the rainy season. In the drizzling rain, the students of the "Blue Pioneer" Sun Bay research team took a bus, passed through dense mangroves and six natural reserves, and arrived at the destination of this trip: Sanya Sun Bay Nature Reserve. Subsequently, the group members conducted research through on-site inspections and community visits. At the report meetings held on the 29th, members of the Liaoning group put forward suggestions on ecological protection from multiple perspectives; The members of the Hainan group reported in groups and provided reference opinions on sustainable seafood procurement pilot, marine nature education courses, community participation in coral conservation projects, and other aspects related to the ecological protection of Taiyang Bay.
