Shen Guojun leads a delegation of Chinese philanthropists to visit the United States for public welfare inspection
Recently, a Chinese philanthropist delegation led by Shen Guojun, founder and chairman of Intime Group and honorary chairman of Intime Charity Foundation, conducted a week-long public welfare inspection in the United States.

During the visit, the delegation had in-depth exchanges and discussions with American philanthropists and leaders in the public welfare industry, including Mr. Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft and co chairman of the Bill&Melinda Gates Foundation, Dr. Susan Desmond Herman, CEO of the Gates Foundation, Ms. Peggy Durani, fourth generation successor of the Rockefeller family and chairman of the Global Philanthropic Families Association, Mr. David Rubinstein, founder of Carlyle Investment Group, Mr. Kevin Rudd, former Prime Minister of Australia and director of the Asia Society Policy Research Institute, Ms. Caroline Kennedy, global director of the Asia Society, Mr. L ü derun, president of the Ford Foundation, Dr. Harold Walms, Nobel laureate, and renowned Chinese philanthropist Jin Yuxi of the Hundred People Society.

This visit is the third time since the "Bobby Dinner" in 2010 that Shen Guojun and Bill Gates have discussed the innovation and development of charitable foundations. It is one of the key milestones on the rise of China's philanthropist community. Against the backdrop of significant and complex challenges in the relationship between China and the United States, the people to people exchanges between philanthropists from both countries have become more practical.
Shen Guojun stated that some innovative explorations in the American public welfare and charity industry coincide with the idea of "creating strategic public welfare based on platform thinking and shared value" upheld by Intime Group and Intime Charity Foundation. In the future, we will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, and jointly promote the innovative development of public welfare and charity organizations in both countries.
Shen Guojun also stated that he will continue to work with Chinese philanthropists to promote and consolidate the entrepreneurial spirit, guide more entrepreneurs to become philanthropists, lead social innovation, and promote the development of China's public welfare and charity undertakings with more professional operations and services, making new and greater contributions to realizing the "Chinese Dream" of the new era.
