Recently, the Ministry of Natural Resources, together with 11 public welfare organizations, launched the "Nature Conservation Public Welfare Partnership Program" and held a meeting with developers in Beijing to exchange and discuss ideas. The program is committed to spreading the concept of ecological civilization, conducting public education on natural resources, strengthening the protection and utilization of natural resources, advocating for the whole society to save resources, protect the environment, and promote harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
Minister of Natural Resources and Chief Inspector of National Natural Resources, Lu Hao, presided over the meeting and exchanged ideas with everyone. Vice Minister and Director of the State Oceanic Administration, Wang Hong, Deputy Chief Inspector of National Natural Resources, Chen Chenzhao, and Director of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration (National Park Management Bureau), Guan Zhiou, participated in the discussion and made speeches.
Shen Guojun, founder and chairman of Yintai Group, founder and honorary chairman of Yintai Public Welfare Foundation, and director of Taohuayuan Foundation, attended the symposium. At the symposium, Director Shen Guojun shared the experience of the Peach Blossom Spring Foundation in focusing on the management of public welfare protected areas with a public welfare mentality and commercial methods since its establishment five years ago. He suggested that the "Nature Conservation Public Welfare Partnership Program" use the power of new media to tell the story of the frontline of nature conservation.
