2  On the 25th of the month, the National Poverty Alleviation Summary and Commendation Conference was grandly held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. General Secretary Xi Jinping solemnly declared that China has achieved comprehensive victory in the fight against poverty.

One important function of public welfare and charity is to narrow the wealth gap through the redistribution of social wealth. Poverty alleviation is also one of the ultimate values of charity. According to statistics from the Ministry of Civil Affairs, since the launch of poverty alleviation, social organizations across the country have implemented over 90000 poverty alleviation projects and invested 124.5 billion yuan in various funds, making important contributions to the decisive battle against poverty.

In the great historical process of poverty alleviation, many philanthropists and disabled workers among the National People's Congress deputies and members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference have actively participated and witnessed this historic miracle, and will continue to shine in the future process of consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively connecting the revitalization of fellow villagers.

As the founder and chairman of Yintai Group and the founder of Yintai Public Welfare Foundation, Shen Guojun has repeatedly visited remote and impoverished areas to conduct poverty alleviation research and project implementation in the process of poverty alleviation.

Zhenxiong County in Yunnan Province was once a key county supported by the national poverty alleviation and development efforts, and also the main battlefield for poverty alleviation in the Wumeng Mountain area. After years of effort, this is now a socialist new countryside with beautiful mountains and clear waters. However, Shen Guojun still vividly remembers the initial scene.

In 2016, when Shen Guojun arrived in Zhenxiong, Yunnan, he was shocked by the poverty situation in front of him, including low and dilapidated earthen houses, dilapidated farmhouses, and impoverished villagers. The scene in front of me was beyond my expectations. The farmers here are too poor... "Shen Guojun, who comes from a rural area, silently decided in his heart that he must contribute his own strength to poverty alleviation.

Shen Guojun, who served as the Executive President of the Global Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce and the President of the Global Ningbo Chamber of Commerce, quickly led entrepreneurs to Yunnan for inspection and signed strategic cooperation agreements and precision poverty alleviation agreements with the Yunnan Provincial Government. He also signed 25 investment cooperation projects with a total amount of 33.8 billion yuan, involving multiple fields.

From then on, Yunnan and Zhejiang formed a bond of common development, and Shen Guojun and caring entrepreneurs tried their best to contribute to poverty alleviation and wealth creation in the local area.

2017 On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the founding of Intime Group, Shen Guojun donated all the expenses of the originally planned celebration activities to support poverty alleviation work in Zhenxiong County, Yunnan Province.

2017 On September 5th, the second Chinese Charity Day, Shen Guojun once again led a team to Zhenxiong to conduct poverty alleviation research and gain a deeper understanding of the real needs of frontline disadvantaged groups. Under the promotion of local governments at all levels, Yintai Group, Yintai Public Welfare Foundation, Zhenxiong County Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau, Zhongtun Town Party Committee and Government have worked together. After a thorough screening and identification, all D-class dangerous houses in Qixin Village, Zhongtun Town have been registered and completed. Yintai quickly arranged donation funds and completed the donation. All funds were used for the renovation of D-class dangerous houses in Qixin Village, ensuring that every villager can live in comfortable, warm, safe and clean housing.

After nearly three years, in October 2020, the renovation of nearly 200 dangerous houses in Qixin Village was completed.

“ Looking back now, rows of new houses with white walls and red roofs are rising from the ground, surrounded by mountains on all sides and shaded by willow trees by the pond. The appearance of Qixin Village has been completely transformed. ”When Shen Guojun talked about the changes in Qixin Village, his eyes were filled with joy and satisfaction.

In order to further consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation, under the guidance of the Yunnan Provincial Poverty Alleviation Office, Yintai Group and Yintai Public Welfare Foundation have jointly conducted research with the Zhenxiong County Party Committee and County Government, and determined to carry out employment poverty alleviation work in Zhenxiong County. They have also successively opened vocational and technical training courses such as construction and home service, training hundreds of people in total.

In addition to providing vocational training, Yintai Public Welfare Foundation also provides targeted assistance to Liulin Primary School in Zhongtun Town, Zhenxiong County, supporting the updating and upgrading of books and equipment in the school's reading room, and eliminating the hidden danger of returning to poverty through education poverty alleviation.

“ Nowadays, the mountainous area has undergone tremendous changes! ”In the process of paired assistance, Shen Guojun felt that General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of strategic deployments and important speeches on poverty alleviation have pointed out the direction of work and strengthened everyone's determination to work.
