In May 2021, Hangzhou - Following the opening of the 2020 Wuhan exhibition, Louis Vuitton's "SEE LV" will welcome its second stop on its global tour - Hangzhou. This exhibition brings together Louis Vuitton's collection designs and new creations, leading visitors to explore the universe of Louis Vuitton through immersive and interactive digital experiences.

The ancient capital of Hangzhou has always been renowned for its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural scenery. Boating on West Lake and the millennium old pagoda have attracted countless literati and artists to leave poems and paintings. Nowadays, this city is renowned for its influence in the fields of technology and finance. The profound cultural heritage and youthful modern vitality intersect here, making it an essential stop on the 2021 journey of the "Seeing LV" exhibition.


This exhibition is divided into five exhibition areas, showcasing Louis Vuitton's classic contemporary designs, early 20th century travel bags, art collaborations, and iconic leather creations.

Looking for the Louis exhibition area, artist Re fi k Anadol used artificial intelligence technology to synthesize the portrait of the brand founder Louis Vuitton when he was young. Subsequently, the Fashion Universe exhibition area reviewed in reverse order the selected ready to wear collections designed by Virgil Abloh, Artistic Director of Men's Wear, and Nicolas Ghesqui è re, Artistic Director of Women's Wear, respectively.

“ Next to a luxurious dress designed by Charles Frederick Worth, the father of haute couture, is a 1906 Louis Vuitton travel case, demonstrating the brand's close connection with fashion. Next, the entire wall of Louis Vuitton's classic handbag series, from Steamer to Speedy, from No é to Twist, will be showcased, accompanied by photos of celebrities such as Kris Wu, Yifei Liu, and Alicia Vikander performing their favorite handbags on the background wall. The handbag legend exhibition area will allow visitors to witness the shining brand light.

Next up is Louis Vuitton's classic travel item exhibition area - The Road to Evolution, which includes the iconic Wardrobe style luggage, Skateboard skateboard box, Auto car luggage launched in the 1920s, and the Louis Vuitton 2054 series waterproof jacket in 2020. Looking back on the time and time again travel mode changes that Louis Vuitton has accompanied us. Entering the LV exhibition area, you will be surrounded by Louis Vuitton's iconic Monogram pattern, telling the legendary history of this classic pattern that has been reinterpreted multiple times since its inception.
