Ocean alert! Shen Guojun and Ray Dalio in partnership to protect the ocean

On July 21st, Paradise Ecological Protection Foundation and OceanX, an ocean exploration project founded by Ray Dalio, released a three-year strategic cooperation plan. Shen Guojun, founder and honorary chairman of Yintai Philanthropy and executive chairman of Paradise Foundation, and Ray Dalio, co-founder of OceanX, jointly sent messages for this strategic cooperation and spoke up for ocean protection.

Paradise Ecological Protection Foundation and OceanX will jointly promote marine scientific research and exploration in the next three years, promote professional exchanges and dialogues, enhance public awareness, and protect the common ocean of humanity.

We are delighted to collaborate with the Paradise Ecological Protection Foundation to share the story of the ocean with Chinese audiences. ”

The Ray Dalio Foundation is committed to supporting marine scientific exploration and research, and has established OceanX for this purpose. It has collaborated with the BBC to complete the world-renowned documentary "Blue Planet II".

During the summer vacation, the Paradise Ecological Protection Foundation and OceanX jointly prepared a visual feast for primary and secondary school students, launching the "Deep Sea Adventure" series of natural science popularization short videos. On July 23rd, the series of videos will be simultaneously launched on platforms such as CCTV Video, Tencent Video, Tencent Education, Tencent Growth Guardian Platform, Youku, Sina Weibo, and DingTalk.

For a long time, ecological environment protection has been an important public welfare area that Yintai Philanthropy continues to pay attention to and actively invests in. In 2016, Yintai Philanthropy and Paradise Ecological Protection Foundation jointly launched the "Blue Pioneer" project, focusing on talent cultivation in China's marine field. The plan is to train 100 marine public welfare talents and incubate 20 marine public welfare institutions within 10 years. At present, the project has been carried out in three phases and has trained more than 60 students in total.
