Speech by Shen Guojun, Chairman of China Yintai Investment Co., Ltd< br>
Shen Guojun, Chairman of Intime Group, Founder and Honorary Chairman of Beijing Intime Public Welfare Foundation, said, "This has been my wish for many years. Over the past decade of company development, I, along with my colleagues, have done some public welfare and charity work. This year, we have the opportunity to establish a more systematic and large-scale Intime Public Welfare Foundation. Because we deeply understand the importance of ecological system construction for public welfare in China and even globally, the first major thing we have done is to have the opportunity to cooperate with Peking University to participate in the education and training of senior talents in China's public welfare. It takes ten years to plant trees, a hundred years to cultivate people, two years of education, and a thousand years of merit."
“ Over the past 30 years of reform and opening up, our country and nation have accumulated a certain amount of wealth. The public's awareness of public welfare and charity has become stronger, and donations have become more and more enthusiastic. Being willing to help others and promoting charity is also a traditional virtue of our Chinese nation. Due to various reasons such as incomplete public welfare management, policies, systems, regulations, and a lack of talent, the public's desire to donate has become increasingly strong in recent years, and the credibility of public welfare organizations has declined. Many donors are not very satisfied with the use of their donations. In the process of enterprise development, we have also been participating in public welfare and charity activities. The biggest feeling here is the lack of talent. It is urgent to change the current situation of public welfare institutions in China, improve their management level, enhance their credibility, and cultivate senior management talents. Therefore, I hope that through this project and our joint efforts with Peking University, we can make some contributions to the public welfare cause of our country and lay a solid talent foundation for the development of public welfare.
I never expected that my proposal for the Master's program in Social Welfare Management would be so highly valued, efficient, and sincere by the leaders of Peking University, which deeply moved me. We highly value the cooperation between Intime and Peking University, and strive to make this project the most influential project in China and even globally, making efforts to change, promote, and improve the level of public welfare and charity management in China. Use commercial means, commercial thinking, and a public welfare mindset to do this well. ”Shen Guojun expressed emotionally.
