Ocean Public Welfare Image Exhibition "Magnificent Extreme Scenery" Debuts at Beijing Yintai Center
On the occasion of "99 Public Welfare Day", the "Magnificent Extreme" Marine Public Welfare Image Exhibition was unveiled at the Yintai Center in Beijing.

This exhibition is jointly launched by CTBS, Ocean Geography Society, and Beijing Intime Center, aiming to raise people's awareness of climate change by showcasing the ultimate scenery of the Earth's Antarctic, Arctic, and Equatorial Coral Sea regions.
In 2010, inspired by explorer Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton, explorers from the Ocean Geography Society embarked on an eight year journey of exploring the "three poles". They captured the magnificent scenery and strange creatures of the Antarctic, Arctic, and equatorial coral seas with their cameras, while also witnessing the impact of climate change on the ecological environment of these 'three poles'.

Behind each image that showcases the magnificent extreme realm, there is actually a serious crisis hidden. With the continuous rise of global temperatures, polar bears and penguins are facing the dilemma of homelessness and hunger, and the originally colorful corals are gradually whitening and dimming. If one day, polar bears and penguins, who originally lived at the poles of the Earth, meet on the same iceberg as in the poster, what would be our human life like?
