The "Blue Pioneer" program was launched in 2020

Recently, the 2020 "Blue Pioneer" program has been officially launched. This program was initiated by the Parker Foundation, Peach Blossom Spring Ecological Protection Foundation, and Yintai Public Welfare Foundation in 2016, and has been held for three consecutive sessions, aiming to provide better growth resources for cultivating local marine conservation talents in China.

This year's "Blue Pioneer" program is divided into three thematic sections: Fundamentals of Marine Science and Theory of Marine Biodiversity, Field Investigation Practice of Biodiversity, and Project Management and Operation of Social Enterprises and Non Governmental Organizations. In addition to the training courses, the students of the 'Blue Pioneer' program will form a team to design and execute group projects, and they will also have the opportunity to conduct on-site research both domestically and internationally; Opportunities for excellent students to go to the United States for accelerator training, etc.

2016 On March 21, 2021, Mr. Shen Guojun, Chairman of Yintai Group, Founder of Yintai Public Welfare Foundation, and Director of Taohuayuan Ecological Protection Foundation, represented Yintai Public Welfare Foundation and Taohuayuan Ecological Protection Foundation to have a detailed discussion with Ms. Jane Lubchenco, former Director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) of the United States, regarding the "Blue Pioneer" program for cultivating marine protection professionals. The program is jointly initiated by the Paikede Foundation, Taohuayuan Ecological Protection Foundation, and Yintai Public Welfare Foundation to cultivate and support frontline young public welfare talents in China who are enthusiastic about marine protection.

2016 In the year, "Blue Pioneer" recruited 15 outstanding students from Peking University Guanghua School of Management, including master's and MBA students in social welfare management, young forces in China's marine conservation field, and students majoring in marine science. Since 2018, the "Blue Pioneer" program has been jointly organized by the Peach Blossom Spring Ecological Protection Foundation and the Environmental Research Center of Duke Kunshan University, inviting numerous well-known environmental protection organizations at home and abroad to participate in implementation.

At present, the 'Blue Pioneer' program has gained social recognition. Among them, the blue pioneer Wang Miao was awarded the title of "United Nations Youth Environmental Defender"; Blue Pioneer Cao Man, He Li, and others were invited to have a dialogue with the Norwegian King and Queen, as well as Jack Ma, a director of the Peach Blossom Spring Foundation; In 2019, all students of "Blue Pioneer" had in-depth exchanges with Mr. Erik Solheim, chairman of REV Ocean Plastic Change Foundation and chairman of the Advisory Committee of the "the Belt and Road" Green Development International Alliance.
