This roundtable discussion focuses on the integration and symbiosis of public art and public space, exploring the strategic ideas of CBD in promoting public art under the background of "two zones" construction. At the meeting, everyone unanimously agreed that the development of public culture in CBD is timely. Against the backdrop of free trade zones and expanded open zones for the service industry, it should be built into a distinctive cultural highland, a model, responsible for external cultural exchanges, and an important mission to represent Beijing in competition with other international cities.

To this end, the Beijing Business Center District Management Committee has specially established the Beijing CBD Public Culture Development Expert Committee, inviting Fan Di'an, Chairman of the China Artists Association and Dean of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Li Xiangqun, Dean of the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and Vice Chairman of the Artists Association, Qian Linxiang, Secretary General of the National Art Museum Professional Committee, Zhang Zikang, Director of the Central Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum, as well as 15 experts from government departments such as the Beijing Sculpture Office, Zhengda Group, Dajia Insurance Group, Oceanwide Group, Yintai Group, China International Trade Center Co., Ltd., Taikang Life Insurance Group, and key buildings and art spaces in the region as the first batch of think tank experts for the professional committee to jointly explore the future development path of CBD public culture.

As one of the hired experts, Shen Guojun stated that Intime Group has always attached great importance to increasing the integration of the art sector in its business planning, combining art and commerce, incorporating more fashion elements, and transforming and enhancing the artistic atmosphere of buildings. As a CBD enterprise, Intime Group will actively participate in the construction of the CBD public art space according to the overall planning, and is willing to contribute to the establishment of a Beijing CBD regional public art exchange and sharing platform. With the support of the Chaoyang District Committee and Government of Beijing, we hope to accelerate the improvement of the CBD core area construction, optimize the management policies for art trade and circulation, and enhance the core advantages of Beijing CBD as an international business service area in the Beijing Free Trade Zone.

In the future, Beijing CBD will fully leverage the think tank power of the Public Art Professional Committee, plan and promote the integrated development of regional public art and public space with a global perspective, promote the promotion and implementation of favorable policies, shape more first mover advantages, and create a highland for Beijing's opening up to the outside world and international cultural exchanges.

At the same time, the heavyweight event of the second CBD Art Season also launched a series of activities with the theme of "Activation: Perspective of the Public". In the future, public art works will be based on CBD urban forest parks and other public spaces, creating the "Guomao C3" art channel, and gradually launching public art activities that cover the CBD population and spread their influence throughout the city. The current Beijing CBD Art Season will last until June 30, 2021.
