Yintai Public Welfare Foundation attends the Charity Work Symposium in Chaoyang District, Beijing

On July 19th, Chaoyang District, Beijing held a charity work symposium, attended by leaders from relevant departments such as the Chaoyang District Political Consultative Conference, the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, the District Civil Affairs Bureau, and the District Medical Security Bureau. More than 40 corporate and social organization leaders, including the Yintai Public Welfare Foundation, also attended.

The meeting introduced the basic situation and future development plan of the Chaoyang District Charity Association in Beijing, and planned to further expand its corporate members and consolidate the foundation of public welfare and charity development. The Chaoyang District Charity Association of Beijing was established in June 2005 and currently has charity branches in 43 streets and townships, and has obtained qualifications for public fundraising. The association aims to build a social security system and actively implements charitable assistance activities such as helping doctors, students, the elderly, the disabled, and the poor. It provides emergency assistance in the event of major natural disasters or sudden public events.

During the discussion, many institutional leaders expressed that they will actively leverage their respective strengths, deepen cooperation, and jointly promote the vigorous development of charity under the guidance of the Chaoyang District Committee and Government in the future.

Since its establishment, Yintai Public Welfare Foundation has taken platform ideology and shared value as its public welfare concept, promoted the development of strategic public welfare and charity undertakings, and initiated the establishment of China's first master's degree program in social public welfare management in the field of public welfare talent cultivation; Funding social welfare protected areas in the field of environmental protection and launching the "Blue Pioneer" marine protection talent training program; Supporting academic research and the growth of young scholars in the field of modern Chinese history research; Assist Yunnan Zhenxiong in poverty alleviation in the field of people's livelihood. In the future, Yintai Public Welfare Foundation will continue to leverage its advantages and resources to contribute to public welfare undertakings.
